will和be going to的区别区别有以下几点：1.做决定的时机不同；2.对未来的预测的不同语气；3.承诺、帮忙用 will；4.未来的事实用will。
一、做决定的时机
当用 “be going to” 时，通常是「早已经有计划、已决定好」要去做这件事；但用 “will” 时，通常是在讲话的「当下才下这个决定」，或是对于这件事「并没有非常明确的计画」，而从时间来看，“I'm going to … (future plan).” 通常指较「短期」的未来，例如马上就要去做了；而 “I will … (future plan).” 通常指较「长期」的未来，以下用这两个简单的句子为范例：

B: No problem. I will help you.
没问题，我会帮你照顾它。
这时如果用 “No problem. I am going to look after your dog.”，语意就会变成「我正要去照顾你的狗」，较不适合。

B: Yes, I will. I promise.
会的，我保证。

四、未来的事实用will
未来的事实，诸如日升日落、潮起潮落等都是用 will 表示，例句：
